North Lambeth Expo Final Report

 As previously reported, the North Lambeth Expo 2009 was a success. You can view the final report on what the evaluators from AIDA CIC on behalf of London Borough of Lambeth wrote about the expo here

Sad death of Gillie Johnson, founding director of WaCoCo

 Gillie Johnson will have been known to many in various different ways - she was so involved and supportive of our local community it was hard not to come across her. But she was also one of WaCoCo's founding director's and trustees without whose support and wisdom we would never have got WaCoCo off the ground. We shall miss her terribly.

South Bank Forum: Dates for 2010

 The date for the 2010 South Bank Forum Meetings are: 11th March, 10th June, September (meeting to be confirmed), 2nd December. The meetings will be held at Coin Street Neighbourhood Centre, 7 – 9pm.

WaCoCo AGM 12th September 2009

 WaCoCo had a most successful AGM at WAC. Richard Bridge, the chair of WaCoCo, made a Presentation on the organisation's work over the past year.
The Annual Report and Financial Statement were presented and accepted by members, and Tim Wood of BOST, Ken Hamilton of WAC were elected to the Board. After the more formal part of the meeting, the well known local consultant Ian Sesnan led the group in a Social Impact Mapping Exercise.
Using information from the recent South Bank and Waterloo MORI Poll as a baseline, the group discussed what were the needs of our local community, and how well, if at all, these needs were being met.
The results were most interesting and will form the basis of some goals for the work of WaCoCo over the coming year.
