Waterloo Community Theatre's projects for local young people
The Waterloo Community Threatre is running a couple of projects for young people in the Waterloo area. One, 8-12 group is an intergenerational arts project which was funded through the Coca Cola London Eye Community Chest. The Theatre is working in partnership with Blackfriars Settlement and is exploring Waterloo's local history from two generational perspectives.
The other, a newer group for secondary school-aged young people of 12-16 has brought together a group of young people who make theatre. This is funded by Lambeth Getting Involved Grant through the China Walk Tenants and Residents Association.
