Garden Museum's Cookery Days for children: Mon 14 - Wed 16 August
At the time of writing on 1 August, here are still places available for all three days of the Garden Museum's kids' summer cookery camp. At only £2.50 for a morning-long session, they are something of a bargain when compared with many other ways of filling the days of summer holidaying school children. The Museum's website says, "In this summer camp we’ll explore cuisines from around the world, by cooking and then eating together delicious healthful dishes together in our new food learning studio. Participants will have the opportunity to tour the museum and a local food growing space as part of the course".
This workshop is described as being ideally suited to children aged 11-13, who may attend unaccompanied. Younger children are welcome to come with an adult.
Tickets for each day will need to be purchased separately, and participants are encouraged, though not obliged, to attend for all 3 days.
